Senior Literatteur Ashok Lav's books released at Literary Day at NLU Delhi

Literary Day
As is now a tradition with the National Law
University Delhi, Literary Day was organized on 21 May 2015. Four plays were staged,
followed by a multilingual poetry workshop and a poets' meet on the theme of Law and Poetry (Kavita aur Kanoon). The students of
NLUD presented the following four plays: The Silver Box by John Galsworthy, Trial by Jury byW.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivun, Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw, and A Malefactor byAnton Chekhov.
In a ddition to the students,several poets and
poetry lovers attended the event. Dr.Prasannanshu, Associate Professor of NLUD,and poet and Senior litterateur, Dr. Ashok Lavconducted a poetryworkshop for the students,in which they shared their experiences as poets,
and talked to the students about the craft of poetry, and induced them to write. The outcome was very encouraging, as several
students did actually proceed to write poems.
The whole event was designed to give a good exposure to the students for a well rounded personality and development of 
communication skills.Syed Sibte Razi, ex-Governor of Assam,
released six books of the 'Kadambari' series written by senior literatteur Dr. Ashok Lav, and also the fifth poetry collection 'Jai Hind' of song writer Virender Kumar Mansotra. Delhi Poetry
Circle (DPC) collaborated with NLUD to
organize this multilingual poetry event.
Around 60 poets shared their poems with a
spell bound audience.
